This is a private reference site, not a Campbell County government office. We cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release an inmate, post bond, schedule a visit, or obtain an official booking record for you. Use the official office listed below for those actions.

Where to Ask

For adult jail records, start with the Campbell County Detention Center. The records custodian listed in the research materials is Cathy Steele, Office Manager. Records requests may be sent by hand delivery, mail, fax, or email. The CCDC form lists records-request hours as Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., excluding weekends and legal holidays.

Other Campbell County offices handle different records. The sheriff handles civil and criminal process, warrants, court security, and tax duties. The county police department handles police records for its jurisdiction. Court records after an arrest are routed through the Campbell County Circuit Court Clerk, not the jail.
